Natural Stress Relief

Researchers at the University of Michigan have found that spending 20 minutes per day in a place that makes you feel close to Nature lowers the levels of salivary cortisol, the stress hormone. This evidence supports the self-prescribing, as well and the healthcare provider prescribing, of “Nature pills” as a safe and cost-effective aid for stress relief. The research was published in the journal Frontiers in Psychology.
